About Us:
We are a non-profit childcare centre that was started up in 1994. Since that time our centre has expanded and has become a busy program that currently has 96 licensed spaces. In 2006 we opened up a preschool that has grown very quickly and offers three classes. September 2010, we opened up a Group Day Care which runs during school hours. Our centre is licensed by the Vancouver Island Health Authority, and runs in compliance with the B.C. Child Care Regulations. Our staff members are qualified adults who have criminal record checks and first aid training as well as a minimum of 20 hours of training. Professional development opportunities are also provided to all staff. Our Preschool and Group Day Care teachers are qualified Early Childcare Educators and Assistants. This Centre is a nonprofit society, governed by a parent board of directors. Child Care subsidy is accepted, and our centre is a fully inclusive program that works with families and the school to create the best opportunities for all children.
